Project for Philadelphia Non-Profit Community Organization to improve their online presence.
The Free Mind Entrepreneur Network, a non-profit founded by Stacey Torrance, who was formerly incarcerated, empowers others with similar experiences by providing resources, training, and networking opportunities. In our team’s meeting with Stacey, we aligned on our plans by curating a panel of speakers, organizing newsletters and blog content, and developing social media campaigns. We focused on “How can social media and website content share stories of those who’ve benefited from a second chance?” This design question framed our work with Free Mind and clarified our goals.
Website
We put a lot of effort into updating the site, adding features like a podcast section, blog, and more comprehensive brand information to improve the user experience and enhance Free Mind's image. Additionally, we created a dedicated section with various resources to support formerly incarcerated individuals.
Panelist Event
We organized an event for Second Chance Awareness Month in April, which highlights the challenges and opportunities for formerly incarcerated individuals reentering society.
Social Media Content
We created captivating social media content alongside the event and crafted a newsletter and blog featuring diverse voices tied to the Fresh Start Awareness theme.
